1:Update the app
Check to see if there is an update for the app:
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Touch the Play Store icon > My Apps to view your downloaded apps. Apps with available updates are labeled "Update."
- Select the app and touch Update.
2:Force stop the app.
Go to Settings > Apps, select the app, and then touch Force stop.
3:Restart your device.
- Press & hold the Power button until you see the menu on your screen. Touch Power off, then OK.
- After your device turns off, press & hold the Power button until the device turns back on.
4:Clear the cache for the app.
Go to Settings > Apps, select the app, and then touch Clear cache.
5:Clear the data for the app.
Caution: Any data saved in this app will be erased.
Go to Settings > Apps, select the app, and then touch Clear data.
6:Reboot to safe mode.
If the app you’re having problems with is a Google app that came with your device, the problem may be caused by a third-party app you downloaded. You can reboot your device in safe mode to pinpoint which third-party app may be causing the problem.

7:Uninstall and reinstall the app.
Caution: Any data saved in this app will be erased.
To uninstall the app:
- Touch All Apps
on any Home screen.
- Touch and hold the app to drag it to the icon that says "Uninstall" at the top of the screen.
If you don’t see the Uninstall option, then the app is likely a system app that can't be uninstalled.
To reinstall the app:
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Select the app you want to reinstall.
- Touch Install.
- Touch Accept after reviewing the app's permissions.
8:Contact the developer of the app.
If you downloaded the app from the Google Play store, you can try contacting the developer for further assistance.
- Open the Google Play store and select the app in question.
- On the app's description page, scroll down to the "Developer" section.
- An email address, a phone number, or a website will be provided.
